I have tried all of the above steps including the secret administrator sign on to no avail.  When I try to install the HP Connection Manager I get :

This software is not supported on this system.

I am running windows 10 Version 1511, OS Build 10586.318 on an HP EliteBook 850 G3.  Does anyone have any suggestions.

- Run cmd as administrator

- Go to the folder where the setup is located. C:\SWSetup\SP57309

- Start the hpcm.msi with a silent parameter: hpcm.msi /quiet

- Look for the msiexec.exe in your taskmanager under Details, the setup has finished when the process disappears.

Hope this helps Smiley Wink

hi benOzzie,

Allow me to introduce myself as Bagas, and i would like to share my difficulties here:

1. Once I've tried to install gobi drivers, but the system reject and said there is no device for such driver..

so I tried to install hs3110/3114 but not sure if it succeed since I cannot it in the device manager

2. My intention is to use the mobile broadband (using sim card), but since I cannot install the driver, I cannot proceed the next process..

Do you have any other suggestions? Many thanks.

My laptop is HP EliteBook 840 G2 Base Model

Thanks benOzzie,

Great stuff, for me it was just bluetooth module but the same steps worked exactly. HP Connection Manager

Gave this message "Bluetooth Device disabled by Wireless Button". All that I had to do was to press it once to disable and enable again.

Much appreciate your help.
