As per the title, I upgraded my Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit to Windows 8 Pro 64bit, obviously as per a lot of threads on here (that I've read through) the AMD Radeon stops working.

I did get it running using some Toshiba drivers which I can't get working again since I did a fresh install of Windows 8 yesterday evening (I don't like upgrades, the plan was to run upgraded to make sure of no problems then do a clean install at a later date) - FAIL !!

With the standard Windows 8 driver my device shows as a AMD Radeon HD 7400m (Microsoft Corporation WDDM v1.20), but it starts as, or should I say fails to start and show the following error "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)".  If I disable the device and restart it then it doesn't show an error and says it's working ok, I'm not sure it is though.

AMD Radeon 7470m (PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_6760&SUBSYS_185D103C&REV_00)

and Intel HD Graphics 3000 (PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0116&SUBSYS_185D103C&REV_09)

The Intel HD Graphics 3000 is running driver version 9.17.10.2875 (17/10/2012), which I updated via the Intel Driver Update Utility yesterday evening.

Any help would be appreciated.
