Hello, I have 2 unknown devices for which I can't find drivers. I try to google it but no use 😕 Maybe some one could help me with that.

         Hardware Ids:

PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1E31&SUBSYS_17AB103C&REV_04
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1E31&SUBSYS_17AB103C
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1E31&CC_0C0330
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1E31&CC_0C03

2nd) Location: Port_#0001.Hub_#0003

          Hardware Ids:

PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1E31 - This is Intel USB 3.0 device driver.

For the second device, what is the device instance path because USB/UNKNOWN might be any of the devices that are connected internally via USB bus

Is there anything that I could look up to find out what driver do I need? And you were right about USB 3.0 driver. Thanks for that :smileyhappy:

For all PCI devices, checking through PCI database works. You can visit the following link:

http://www.pcidatabase.com/

8086 is the vendor and 1E31 is the device ID. You can put the vendor for identifying vendor like Intel, AMD, Realtek etc.

Device ID is to narrow it down further to a specific device.

Thank you for yhe link it will be usefull. But for that usb I found some info in system information it says

Unknown Device USB\VID_0000&PID_0000\6&19A36989&0&1 This device is working properly. Even it's working properly, but it isn't. Could that usb got buged then I pluged device but didn't had drivers for it

Normally USB\VID devices also have a number associated with them. A PID 0000 indicates that the device is no longer connected or it is a failed device. A failed device can be any device that is connected internally to the board via a USB bus. What I would suggest at this point is to ensure all USB ports, card reader and fingerprint device are working. If they are, then I guess it is just a device that is no longer connected to the unit.

Thank you I fpund that I didn't had finger print. Can I ask you one last advice. Could you tell with drivers should I get because I can't find them for w7 ultimate x64 and what software I should use 😕

If you have unknown devices, then you can find the device with the hardware ID. Otherwise, you can download all drivers from the following link:

Just match the edition and bit. Hopefully this helps in what you are looking for.
