Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My HP Zbook 15U G5 cannot be charged via power adaptor, nor docking station. It can be slowly charged via USB-C port. It is just too slow and not charging during normal working mode.

 

I wonder if any hardware should be replaced to fix this issue. Additionally, would a HP USB-C dock G5 can be used to solve this issue?

Hi, there are other compatible docking stations that you can try with your HP zbook 15U g5. So there might not be anything wrong with the hardware.

 

The zBook 15 G5 machines are compatible with the following docks

 

  • HP Thunderbolt Dock 230W G2
  • HP ZBook Dock with Thunderbolt 3
