I should also mention that after updating to sp138384 nVida 30.0.14.7298 Rev.Wsp139398 Intel video 30.0.101.1404 Rev.W drivers (directly downloaded from HP - not from Windows Update), I was having a rather serious issue with my two external monitors. They are connected via the two display port connections on my HP Thunderbolt Dock.

The primary display monitor would to a completely white screen for 10-15 seconds, then show the normal Windows output and after 10-15 seconds, go white again and so on. Using the Nvidia control panel, switching resolution to a non-supported one and then hitting ESC would often stop this white screen cycling issue. Also re-installing the Nvidia driver would sometimes fix it too however if the screen powered down via the settings in the "power plan" and then woke up, the issue returned. So the obvious next step after insuring the most current video drives where installed was updating the BIOS (01.20.00 Rev.A) . I also updated the docking station firmware.  Doing both these, solved the monitor display issue.

I installed "sp136180 HP Thunderbolt Dock G2 - Firmware 1.0.71.1 Rev.A" update downloaded for the HP support site:
