Product: HP 255 G3 Notebook
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)
The hardrive on my HP 255 G3 failed so a replacement was installed using the same model of drive.
After installation the drive tested fine and so I ran a recovery file from a pen drive.
The screen came up resetting this PC but stops at 85%
It then goes to boot but comes up with "The system cannot find the batch label specified - END"
If I exit this I go into a Recovery Manager Screen which gives the message "Couldn't get FeatureByte from bios string..."
Reading previous posts it appears this is a security feature but why is this appearing on the same PC that the recovery drive was taken from in the first place and how do I correct this?
Thanks for any assistance.
