I have reloaded Windows 8.1 and need the hot key driver for my laptop so I can use my wireless key and other keys via the "FN" key properly. if I could be guided to where I could get that driver , that would be perfect. (added info)I didn't see the driver on the driver list for my laptop .

You're very welcome.
The only suggestion I can offer is, if you did not install the HP Wireless Button Driver, that you give that a try.
For some reason this driver is not on your notebook's support and driver page, so you didn't overlook it.

Hi:
The hotkey softare for your model series is called the System Event Utility. It can be found under the Solutions section on the driver page for your notebook.
This package contains the HP System Event Utility for supported notebook models running a supported operating system. HP System Event Utility enables special function keys to be programmed.
File name: sp66604.exe
