HP Recommended

need help. cannot do 7)  Let Windows 8 boot-up and place the Windows 7 SP1media in the DVD drive or USB port, then log-off / shutdown

 

the boot file is missing so i am just trying to do a normal clean install of windows 7 like i have a thousand times. lol

 

all bios settings are correct and when i hit f9 i just tell it to boot to the windows 7 usb drive i have and 100 percent works. when i select the usb drive it loads up the windows logo with the white dotted circle moving around. Then black screen and never loads the rest of the windows setup. The same if i use my vista usb drive. loads the green windows bar with vista though, i then get the white mouse icon on a black sreeen. its just never loading the rest of any windows install i throw at it. any help is appreciated...
