Hello nirmlds,
An Code 10 error is a Device Manager error code displayed usually because it can't start the device due to a corrupted driver or such.
I don't know if its possible for the Virus scan to have corrupted the driver or not, but usually you can fix the problem by removing the hardware's driver and reinstalling it.
I would go back to the Device Manager and uninstall the USB Mass Storage Device with the yellow exclamation point. When you plug the pendrive back in, it will reinstall its driver again.
Sometimes it may be necessary to uninstall all the USB Mass Storage Devices including the hidden ones, which will not hurt anything if so. They will simply reinstall the next time they are plugged in as well.
Here is a video on finding and removing Hidden Drivers.
But I would just start with only the one associated with the affected pen drive.
Let me know how it works out.

With the usb drive removed, go to the Device Manger>View and enable Show HIdden Drivers.
Go to Portable Devices and delete all the greyed out devices in there.
Also go to Universal Serial Bus controllers and remove all greyed out devices in that.
Go to Disk Drives and remove any greyed out devices there.
Restart the computer.
If this does not help, does the usb drive work in other devices?

OK if the flash drive does not work in other computers, then unfortunatly it has failed.
IF its under warranty, you will need to contact Support for your area.
