How do I use the camera to take a selfie with a HHPPavilion dm4 laptop?

Not sure which application you use, if you use Youcam, you can find a rotate option at the botoom side, you can choose it for selfie, thanks.

Thanks for your response. I'd like to use the camera in my laptop to take my picture.

I have a Pavilion dm4

I'm not familiar with any program to do this or software to do this?

Can the camera function as a stand alone and work to take my picture looking at it?

You may need to run an application to use it. Would you please try Youcam application? You can find a rotate option at the bottom side, you can choose it for selfie.
