I have a compaq notebook, windows 7 and on a online game i play i need the hotkeys f1, f2, f3, f4 and f5. However instead of doing what they are meant to do in the game, the effect the hotkey usually has happens instead. So instead of doing what its meant to do in the game when i click F1, Help comes up on my screen, for f2 my screen brightness is reduced, nothing happens on the game, f3 screen brightning is upped, etc. Is there anyway to disable those hotkeys as it is extremely annoying.

Where can i find the BIOS? the guide says to click F10 but on my notebook that turns the volume up. Nothing happens when i click FN+F10

When you boot up the computer you will see a HP splash screen before windows loads, hit F10 several times when you see this screen.
