Hello menge.

What version of Windows are you using?

What is the product number for your notebook?  This document can show you where it is located.

Have a great day.

I use HP Pavilion g6 3230M Notebook PC. I have issues with my bluetooth.  It is not displayed in my HP recovery manager. However, it can be seen at PC Settings but cannot be activated. Serial number:[Personal Information Removed], Product number: D0X68EA#ABU, windows 8 OS. I'd apreciate if you can look into this and prescribe necessary drivers within the earliest possible time.

Thank you.

I also have a Pavillion G6 and this model has no Bluetooth facility,

I purchased a generic Bluetooth dongle only £4.00 at a computer fair and have to use it in USB 3 port, it can be a bit fiddly getting it going on my Samsung SGH-E250. but it does work OK sending and receiving photos etc. I do not use the phone for emails so I dont know the position there.

Hope this is of help.

Hi,

I have a pavilion g6 2260sa PC with windows 8. Am I correct in thinking it does not have bluetooth capabilities?

If so, is my only option to use a bluetooth dongle? I would appreciate it if you also help with using the bluetooth dongle.

Thanks

Hi Shreyau.

Have only just been made aware of your Bluetooth issue post, I guess you must have solved problem by now, If not try this link it is very useful to help setting up your bluetooth.

You will however need a 'Bluetooth Dongle' if like my laptop yours is a lower end price range model none of which it seems have the Bluetooth facilty, but do have the software.

Hope this is of some help.
