How to mod the Action Keys (right on top of the notebook) for default Browser on EliteBook like 8570w

Hello!

they are four action keys on top right of the notebook for: Wi-Fi on/off,  Volume on/off, Browser and Calculator.

Is there any method to mod the 3. key that is setting to start the default browser?

I want to execute for example a batch scripts by pressing these key.

If I press the Browser key the executable file "QLBController.exe" launch the default browser.

Full path to this exe: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Hewlett-Packard\HP Hotkey Support\QLBController.exe"

The driver "HP Hotkey Support" is responsible for "Fn"-keys on the keyboard too and for the four action keys.

Following files are in the root of the same folder:

BeatsAudio.dll

CaslHotkey.dll

CaslHotkey.dll.hpsign

GenericVideoRotation.dll

GenericVideoRotation.dll.hpsign

HandlersStrings.dll

HandlersStrings.dll.hpsign

hp.mobile.shared.dll

hpCustomControls.dll

hpCustomControls.dll.hpsign

hphksVer.exe

HPHotkeyMonitor.exe

hpHotkeyMonitor.exe.hpsign

hpSmartAdapterHelp.exe

hpSmartAdapterHelp.exe.hpsign

HPSysInfo.exe

HPSysInfo.exe.hpsign

hpUIFramework.dll

Interop.HPQWMIEXLib.dll

Interop.HPQWMIEXLib.dll.hpsign

PopUp.exe

PopUp.exe.config

PopUp.exe.hpsign

QLBController.exe

QLBController.exe.hpsign

Win32ScreenRotate.dll

Win32ScreenRotate.dll.hpsign

By pressing the second action key (Volume on/off) "QLBController.exe" execute the "hpCaslNotification.exe" in the path

C:\Program Files (x86)\Hewlett-Packard\Shared

and the icon is appears on the screen for Volume on  or off.

To change the Calculator Key is via registry no problem and my script is started without problems:

HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\AppKey\18

"ShellExecute"="RestartWindows.bat"

Showing on the process tree the process (script.bat or calc.exe …) is running under the process "Explorer".

But if a tried the same for the Internet Key like:

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Appkey\7

"Association"="RestartWindows.bat"

or

"ShellExecute"="RestartWindows.bat"

or

"ApplicationPath"="RestartWindows.bat"

it don't work.

Why?

Showing on the process tree the process (default Browser) is running under the process "QLBController.exe".

That is the big differences between the internal management of the both action keys.

I need to mod the both keys (for browser and calculator)

Thank you for any idea how to mod this 3. action key!
