I am trying to upgrade from Win7 to Win 10 on my 8560w.

The Windows 10 prep utility says that I need to remove HP Protectools.

But removing HP Protectools fails because I need to first remove "HP Theft recovery software".

I know that this is actially LowJackPro (\Program Files x86\Hewlett Packard\HP Theft recovery).

But I cannot figure out how to remove it: There is no uninstall program in the "Theft recovery" folder and
the "theft recovery" program does not show up in the Control Panel list of programs that can be removed.

Thanks for any pointer!

I reinstalled the Anti Theft (Computer Trace) patch and was abot to remove Protect Tools cleanly. Not sure why the 1st time I removed it, there was still some "stuff" left behind.
