So, yesterday, when I tried to play Dirt 3 on my laptop, an error window showed up. The exact text: Unable to launch application (0xc000009a). The game didn't launch since then. I looked for the answer on the internet and I was able to find out that some guy had the same problem with McAfee, and some other guy suggested in the comments that the problem is in The Malicious Software Removal Tool. And since he doesn't know how to uninstall it, I do not either (I never installed it). So, the question is, where is the problem? And if it really is in The Malicious Software Removal Tool, how to uninstall it? Thank you for the answer,

So, I discovered the real problem. I found out that something is blocking the launch of the game, so I looked into it and found out that the Avira Real Life Protection Software thinks that the game is a virus and blocked it. So, it is only about disabling the real-life protection (go to Avira control panel where under PC Protection is "Real-Life Protection", so you only have to switch the lever to off).
