Hello all:
My last post means: I just bought the laptop and it has a partition "D: Recovery" originally。
Maybe it is for recovering original system from the factory. Anyway, could you tell me the usefulness
and method.

Hi @zpxykm, I am the @Chimney_83. It looks like you were interacting with @DavidSMP, but he is out of the office today so I'll take over from here.
Thanks for the reply, you would not need to use the drive manually. The features of the drive can be accessed using HP Recovery manager application available on your computer. Click here.
Note: Please do not run a recovery on your computer unless you are facing any issues, as it would reimage your computer to the Factoroy condition.
Hope this helped.

The files in Recovery are also used to make backup Recovery Media. Having Recovery Media can be important -in the event the hard drive fails and has to be replaced it can be used to install Windows and all of the original software/drivers.
