I tried the hard reset and the power up without the battery, and neither worked.

 

My product is HP G60-441US, p/n: NW142UA#ABA

 

Your help is greatly appreciated!

the solution of Shut down the notebook, unplug the AC Adapter and then remove the battery.  Hold  down the Power button for 30 seconds.  Re-insert the battery, plug in the AC Adapter and see if the notebook will start didnt work My product number is  HSTNN-W5IC

model G60-508US Windows 7 64
