ok heres the deal i did a bios update and the dang thing went and forgot my password it will not work i get a system disabled message then the code [I 50479104]
someone give me a hand here as ive looked everywhere and cant find the jumper on the motherboard and removing batterys and hard drives for X- amount of hours does nothing.
I really dont want to have to go pay someone to fix this...

In that case, try the following.
Shut down the notebook, unplug the AC Adapter and then remove the battery.
Hold down the Power button for 30 seconds.
Plug in the AC Adapter ( leave the battery out for the moment ) and start the notebook.
At the password prompt, type in 46654468 and hit enter.

Are you sure the code is prefixed with a I ?
If it's actually prefixed with a i, the code you require is 67226541

yes there is a lower case I then a space and then the numbers start now ive seen two ways to do this am i supposed to typ it in the password box or enter the wrong pw until im greeted with the system disabled dialog and then type it?
no special key combo i have to hit for it to work?
just trying to cover all bases

All you need to do is reboot the notebook, type in 67226541 at the password prompt and hit enter.
