I bought a new pc the other day, with win8. No problem to connect the mouse to it then. Upgraded to win10, after that no luck.

I have tried to reinnstall mouse suite 2.4, and checked both windows update, and HP update, every day since. (bought it a couple of weeks ago)

So, is this a no go, should I go back to the store with it and buy Logitech, that I know works, or will an update come soon?

Thanks for any answers.

Hello,

I see that you reinstalled with version 2.4, however, I do see a version 3.0 on the product page. I also see a firmware update and a troubleshooting utility that you might try. Not sure if this will resolve your issue but something to try.

I was not able to install this mouse in Win 7 and now I have upgraded to Win 10 and I still can't install it and there is no driver for new wind.

Any help will be highly appreciated.

Where did you download and how could you install the new firmware please?

I have the same problem that windows 10 is ignoring this wonderful mouse. Sorry, your link is bringing me only to the driverpage for this mouse and there i find the old driver and no firmware. I can only choose win7 as system, 😞

I hope there will come soon a solution for windows 10 because the mouse is a good device.

Hello everyone,

I just managed to install my X7000 mouse on win 10!

Here is how i did (not without difficulties) :

first, i followed the instructions of this tutorial for enabling connections of devices via wifi (this is SoftAP which is not activated on Win 10 by default, contrary to Win 7). Don't forget to reboot your PC.

Then, install HP Mouse Suite 2.4 with the CD-rom. Turn on your mouse, press the Connect button of your mouse, and... it may work! (if you previously installed HP Mouse Suite 2.4, first uninstall it, reboot, and then re-install it once again - this is what i had to do).

I hope this can help the users of this device 🙂

Sorry if my English is not perfect, i'm French!

Many thanks for your input. Unfortunately, my laptop which is latest (Lenovo LaVie Z 360) doesn't support "Hosted network supported", is there a way around this?

Thanks and regards,

Maher
