Hi, I own an HP laptop M4 Envy. Windows operating system.  My disc drive is going out.  It is an Hp CDDVDW  SU-208BB.  I'm looking to get into a Blu Ray burner.  I've already upgraded my RAM to 16gb's and the hard drive to a hybrid drive, which is verrrry fast.  A friend who's into computers says my now speed demon laptop could easily handle a Blu-Ray burner... My only problem is which drive to go with.  I have two that I like...one is 12.7mm in height, the other is 9.5mm in height.  One is Panasonic and the other is LG.  I just need to know the drive height of the original drive.  I've tried to find this out online, but it seems to be a secret, noone can tell me.  Can anyone here help me out?  I don't want to pay a fee for this info...worst case I order one or the other and if it doesn't fit, I'll send it back.  Wasted time and my patience.  Thank you in advance for anyone who can help!

I think that the size is 12.5mm. The 9.5mm drives might be fit for sleek or ultrabooks I guess..

Wrong guess on the drive height!  Just tried to install 12.whatever...and it was too big!  So I've had to re-order the skinnier drive... the 9.whatever....  Just so everyone knows...it's the super slim drive you need!
