Hi:
Look at the serial number.
The 4th, 5th and 6th characters will always be numbers.
The 4th number is the year of manufacture. It will always be 0 - 9.
The 5th and 6th numbers are the week of manufacture. They will always be 01 - 52.
For example: If the 4th, 5th and 6th characters of the serial number are 825, that means the notebook was made in 2018 during the 25th week of the year (June).
Yes, it could have been 2008 but you would probably know around when you bought the PC.
