IS there any hardware switch to turn on/off  Wifi and bluetooth in HPr006TU laptop, Also Please let me know how to turn ON/OFF bluetooth. I am using windows 8

I can't find the specs of your machine, what is it ? Have you try F12 ?

You can do this by pressing and holding F12 button on the top most panel of keyboard.

Of you are not able to enable action key from BIOS. It is enabled at the factory.
If it's not enabled, you can do it entering BIOS -- Go through Page 58 Setup BIOS Utility in the user guide foot procedure.

I have already tried f12 its not working.

Did you try BIOS setup -- action key enabled?

Hi Visruth,

 

I checked in my BIOS setup , Action key is enabled. I also tried by disabling it. But it's not working. All other Fn key are working except F12. Please help me with what next can be done. I am assuming that there isn't any fault in the key because my laptop is just 3 days old.

Is WiFi drivers installed and updated?

Right Click My Computer, select Properties, click Device Manager, click Network Adapters, right click the Ralink Wi-Fi adapter, click enable..
Then Restart your laptop.

1. Open Network and Sharing Center
2. Choose Change adapter settings on the Task pane
3. Right-click on Wi-Fi
4. Select Enable
