Product: Hp-15 f009wm notebook
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8 (32-bit)
Hi, my laptop will not turn on at first i thought it was the battery. So i bought a new one. It lights up white when i put the power cord in it to charge. The prong where you put the power cable in was bent but i straightened it out but it still wont turn on ...Could it be the power cable or the prong port ?

Hi,
Mostly DC power connector or board issue
Part No: 732067-001
Description: DC-IN POWER CONNECTOR
http://www.ebay.com/itm/321527852916?_mwBanner=1
Is it not powering on with new battery alone?
All you can do is now is to change AC adapter and see if it is resolving
Part No: 741727-001
Description: Smart AC power adapter (45 watt) - 4.5mm barrel connector, non-power factor correcting (NPFC) - Requires 3-wire AC power cord with C5 connector

No, i figured since it was new that it need to be charged up but I think you are right about it being the adapter because the the pin inside of it is a little loose and was off center so when it try to connect into my laptop to charge it, the only thing that show was the light that indicated it was charging.
