I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details). If you are unfamiliar with how the Forum's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.
Thank you for visiting the HP Support Forum.

Same problem for me - please can someone from HP get in contact and help me resolve:

  1. Purchased Envy x360 14/01/17 (i.e. last Saturday) from PC World

2.  Warrenty on HP Support tool shows as expired last Saturday 14/01/17 !!!!!

Moreover although the HP support tools detect the correct Serial number amd model name when I go to the web site to raise a warrenty dispute the web detects the same info but will not proceed saying there is an error in the data!!!

"Confirm the warranty status details for your product are still incorrect. If they are incorrect, locate and click the blue Dispute this link in the disclaimer text to open HP warranty validation"  ha ha good luck with that!!!!!

The HP support site advertises contact details but when I try and start a chat sesson online it says it cannot proceed due to my model not being availble for support via chat!!!

Complete Kafka nightmare!!!!

Please god can someone get in contact with me so I can send my proof of purchase and get this resolved asap!

I'm experiencing the same issue.  I tried contacting HP support via the online chat function.  That was useless.  "Andrea" gave me a phone number to call which turned out to be a bad number.  I tried phoning Customer support twice and got clueless support persons with heavy accents who just disconnected when they couldn't comprehend my request.  On the third attempt, the support person gave me the Business support phone number (800-334-5144) where I got a very helpful person who asked me to email a copy of the receipt.  I did so immediately.  He looked at it and said it had all the necessary info.  He would get the warranty status corrected and email me with an update.  Hopefully he'll do that.

I don't know why this has to be so difficult.  I learned a couple of things about HP support.  The consumer support is poor quality.  The business support seems to be much better.  Fortunately, I purchased a computer from their business line.  Last time I purchased a computer it was from Lenovo.  There was no problem getting them to update the warranty status.  It was a simple phone call.

Hopefully HP will correct their process for updating warranty status.

I'm having same issue, purchased Spectre X360 15 on 03/10/2017 and it was delivered on 04/10/2017.  End Date on 3 yr Care Pack is 12/08/2020 - should be 03 or 04/10/2020.

Can this please be resolved.  Many thanks
