Hello @Amit0022
Thank you for posting in the HP Support forum.
I see your model officially supports Windows 10 but it does come with no operating system pre-installed (~comes with FreeDOS).
- How exactly are you trying to install Windows 10 - is it clean new installation or you are doing an upgrade from previous Windows version ?
- Do you use USB pen drive or DVD installation media ?
- check BIOS and also test your hardware for issues:
IF you are performing clean installation with no previous Windows installed
Please, perform some basic hardware checks
1. Please, shutdown the computer using the power button
2. Power it on.
2.1 As soon as you press the power-on button, immediately begin hitting the Esc button (like tap-tap-tap).
This should open a HP Startup Menu which may look similar to this one
3. Choose F2 to open System Diagnostics (or press the respective F button for hardware tests).
Follow the on-screen instructions to perform HDD and RAM check.
Let me know the test results. If the tests pass without issues, continue. If not, please, let me know
Check BIOS settings
Repeat steps 1-2 above but when HP Startup menu opens, please choose F10 for BIOS settings.
Navigate through the BIOS and :
- restore BIOS to default settings
- ensure that Secure Boot is disabled and
thatLegacy mode is enabled
- save the changes and exit BIOS
Windows 10 license and installation media
What kind of Windows 10 installation media you use ? Is it the ISO downloaded from Microsoft web site or you have purchased a DVD with Windows 10 from a retailer/reseller ?
I am asking this because if the installation media of Windows 10 is not ok, you might get BSOD screens/errors
Looking forward to your reply/update.
