I'm using HP2000-2116TU notebook laptop, installed with WINDOWS 8.1 (32 bit) Operating system. when i try install Intel management engine interface driver, downloaded from hp webpage , it says that it is incompitable with the system. so when i check the device manager, it shows pci communication driver is missing. on the other hand bluetooth driver, preferred for my system in HP webpage is also incompitable with WINDOWS 8.1 operating system.

 

Please give me a solution for this problem.

Hi:

 

That is the driver you need, so unfortunately, I don't know why it isn't working.

 

Try to force the installation...

 

Download and run the file again.

 

Now go to the device manager and click on the pci simple comms controller needing the driver.

 

Click on the driver tab.  Click on Update Driver. Select the Browse my computer for driver software method and then at the bottom of the window, select the Let me choose from a list of device drivers on my computer.

 

Click Have Disk and browse to the driver folder that was created when you ran the file.

 

That will be located in C:\SWSetup\sp58464\Drivers\MEI\HECI\and select the Intel(R) Management Engine Interface device from the list and see if the driver installs that way.

Hi:

 

The PCI device ID's that you listed are for the Realtek card reader.

 

This is the driver you need for that.

Mr. Paul Tikkanen , thanks for your effort. Now my device manager is showing ! symbol on Intel(R) management engine interface.
