Hello ZeroE,
Go to Malwarebytes.com and click on FREE DOWNLOAD.
After download is installed open it and click on scan.
If the scan finds somthing it will ask if you want it quarantined, select yes.
Hopefully this will solve your problem.

Simply go on the internet and type in "Malwarebetes" and then look for the "FREE" download from Malwarebytes. They will try everthing in the world to hide thae Freebee to force you to BUY it. But don't do it!
Then let it install on your PC. It will then automatically run a scan. In all likeli-hood it will "FIND" the "culprit" in short order. This is probably NOT true. But your problem might not go away during the "FREE" version. If you do not buy it when the 30 day freebee is over, the problem will probably and sadly, come back with a vengeance. Or at least this is what happened to me.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I have first hand experience on this horrible dilemma with Mics being muted automatically after they have been anabled.
I have NO bonified cure; but for some reason, last Friday after several months of agony, my mic stopped muting itself. I do NOT know why. But it may have been a result of a MS update. I do not know.
Hope you get your's fixed soon dear person. I know is it is agravating.
May Jesus help you in your dilemma.

Hi,
You may want to check the system for Malware. If you notice a process called SVCHOST (There will be multiple ones) but one may be running under your user name as opposed to the others that run as Systeme or Local Service
End the process, and proceed in running MalwareBytes, or any other spyware removal tools (Reboot and test)
Hope this helps
regards
Rog
