Hi

I have been using the HP Pavilion Dm4-1050 ca for a year, unfortunately last time I dropped it and it's so terrible that the case was cracked. It still runs well but the screen now do not match with the body of the laptop correctly, and a small part of the cover of the screen at the corner was broken off. A tiny part at the corner of the screen also turn to black but it's not a big problem.

Does anyone know where can I purchase a case for the laptop to replace it, or can I send it to warranty even though this is my own false ? xD It's quite hard for me to send it to warranty because I bought it in Canada and now I'm in England.

I would very appreciate it if you know where can I buy it and how much it would cost xD

Thanks for your times and sorry for my bad English, I'm trying to improve that in the near future lol.

Hi,

I don't know about the warranty but I know the cost may end up higher than buying a new machine usless you can do everthing by yourself. I would change minimum 4hrs for that work or $960 plus part.

Regards.

Yeah, tha's why I ask for where can I order a new case, I know that I may cost lots of money for sending them to warranty, most of my friends found it to difficult to warranty so they end up with the solution that just use it until it breaks down, then buy a new one xD

Mine is quite new and everyting is ok except the case so I just want to buy a new one.

Anw, thanks for your advice I very appreciate that.
