HP Omen 15-ek0038ur

Hi,

I have bought an external monitor for my HP Omen 15-ek0038ur (Intel Core i7 10750H, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Max-Q), so now I want to power my laptop without opening the cover.

Is there any way to power on my Omen by keyboard or mouse?

I haven’t found an option for that in BIOS.

Thanks in advance!

@Diosmio

Thank you for posting on HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,
To get the answer to this question, it's not possible to power on the laptop using Keyboard,  Mouse or any other accessories.

Only by pushing the power button, you can turn on the laptop however, you can close the display lid after the signing up process is completed to continue using the laptop with the display lid closed.

  • In Windows, click Start and type into the search field, "Change what closing the lid does".

And, also refer to the link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/ish_3046046-2885219-16 Enabling the keyboard to wake the computer.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
