HP Spectre X360
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

When I first open my computer the keyboard is non-functioning. I NEED to change my computer into tablet mode before entering my password. I have changed all of the tablet settings and none of them fix this problem.

Hi @emilystauffer,

Welcome to the HP Forums! To help you get the most out of the HP Forums, I would like to direct your attention to the HP Forums Guide First Time Here? Learn How to Post and More.

I have read your post and wanted to help. I gather that your physical keyboard does not work at the login screen.

You can use the onscreen keyboard as a workaround. Click this icon on the start screen: original.jpg. Choose Type without keyboard.

Does the physical keyboard work after you logged into the system? Also, can you post back the product number of your Spectre x360?

Looking forward to your reply and have a good day!
