Product: HP Probook 650 G1
Operating System: Microsoft Windows XP
Just recieved this laptop a week ago. The laptop is in an HP docking station and also connected to 2 monitors that I use to work on every day.
Every night before I leave the office, I shut down my laptop like I had done before with my desktop.
In the morning, I turn the power button on my docking station, login and the system "shuts down" instead of booting up.
I have to remove my laptop from the docking station, login through the laptop, place the laptop back in the docking station, wait for my 2 screens to pull up and then close the laptop.
I was told this is "user-error" and that is NOT the case as this issue continues to happen every morning. I was also told that I must be placing my system in Sleep or Hibernate instead of shutting down. I have never placed my desktop or the laptop in "Sleep" or "Hibernate" mode. (this is per my IT department)
I have never had this issue with any previous laptops I have had personally or professionally.
