Hi

i have HP Compac 6710b and i did not get any hash after putting 3 times password,

i removed the battery CMOS but no use .

Also when i write the password nothing appears does this means that i have to connect an usb keyboard.

I have a HP Notebook 2000 win 8. The hard drive went out of it after only having it for less than a month. Put in new hard drive and when turning on it asks for (Enter Administator Password or Power on Password). I typed in old password and says invalid. I tried a series of numbers ans it gives me (97693011) Please help me find the correct password.

I was able to bypass the password power on by removing the small button battery next to the hard drive for 15minutes. However coming to find out the new hard drive they sent me was shot. Thank you for your help everyone. 🙂
