Hello!

I have experienced this with different laptops, to prevent this issue what I have done is before I put it away from the docking station I make sure I press keys function (FN) and  F3 to put the laptop on sleeping mode.  Could you please try this and let us know how did that go?

Thanks

I am an HP employee

Hello John,

My recomendation would be to update the bios to the latest version and to confirm that the Docking station driver is also installed on the unit.

Please send me a private mail with the serial # of the Probook and Docking station if this does not help !
