Hope someone can help with this.

Have a two year old laptop that has started to freeze if it is moved. Works fine when stationary but if its moved slightly in any direction it just freezes and have to turn off and reboot. It does it whether battery fitted or not and even with a USB mouse attached.

Has never been worked hard or badly treated.

I have run its diagnostics and it reports everything OK.

Think it may be something to do with accelerometer if it has one.

Not the most computer techy type so just basic advice please.

Welcome to the HP Forums. I would be happy to help you with your HP 15-g094sa Notebook. I understand that your notebook freezes when you move it and you have already done some preliminary troubleshooting.

However, I will need a few details to provide an accurate solution,

  • When did this issue start?
  • Did you do any hardware or software changes recently?

Meanwhile:

  • Run test again on HDD , memory and motherboard test from UEFI.
  • Click here and follow the document to run the test.

Reply with the result of the above-mentioned steps, for further assistance.

Cheers.
