HP Pavilion Laptop PC 15-eg0067st
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

As described by the user in https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Hardware-and-Upgrade-Questions/Laptop-freezing-frequently-wit... , I've been experiencing the same problems. Bought this laptop couple of months ago fresh from Staples,  Audio stutter happens more frequently when playing music and on zoom calls. Kind of sucks every time my teacher turns into a scary robot.  I'm under a one year warranty but I don't want to replace this laptop just yet. Is there anything else I can do besides methods suggested in provided link?

Many thanks

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:

Here is a link to a document that offers some troubleshooting steps to crackling sound from speaker issues:  HP Notebook PCs - No Sound or Distorted Sound from Speakers (Windows 10). Please try out the steps and let me know the results.
