I have the same problem with HP DV7, the onboard microphone have interference sound, i suppose is hardware problem, with external mic i dont have problem

Hi!

 

I am having the same issue with my HP Pavillion TouchSmart 300 microphone.  Two minutes into a Skype call, there is horrible noise and my friends can't hear me and I can't hear them b/c of the noise I make.  If I mute the call, everything is lovely and works as it should (except of course I am mute and can only listen) 

 

What to do?  Get a new computer?  An external mike?  These don't sound like elegant solutions.  Please help!!

Hi

Try to Earth your machine's body. Mostly such noise is there when machine's got Earth (small amount of electricity) running in outer body....
