why does my laptopb only work when it is plugged in although it is fully charged? it shuts down as soon as it is unplugged and it will not switch back on unless it is pugged!

 

it's not an overheating problem! and i only bought it a year ago so i am not sure if the battery died. so how caan i fix this problem?

Hi,

Most likely the battery has died. Try running HP diagnostics on the battery and let us know the result. Here is link to document about diagnostics on battery
