When I go to turn on my computer, which is a pull switch, the light that normally turns on is dimmer than usual and the computer itself won't turn on. No fans or screen activity either. I have taken out the battery multiple times and it doesn't do anything. I plugged it into the charger and the charging light blinks orange but the computer isn't responding. I need this laptop for college and really need it to turn on again.

Have you tried conducting a Hard Reboot?

If not this can be done by unplugging the battery and AC Adapter and holding down the power button for approximately 15-20 seconds. Then plug the AC Adapter in and press the power button again. Once powered up you then shut down your laptop and replace the battery.

Hope this helps,
