Its been like a month that my task manageris showing disk and memory usage to a skyrocket high 99% even when I am only browsing n opening three tabs. And the system will lag big time..I have anitivirus install n it is upto date too..What might be the possible reasons for this?

Download and run SysInternal's Process Explorer to see which processes are running in detail.

 

Be careful with the utility as it is quite powerful.

Without a product name\number and the name of the installed operating system it is quite difficult to help you. Post the name of you antivirus as well.
