My mic for HP Pavilion 15-p045TX is not working .i checked for sound controls recording option it show enable as well as green lights shows as we speak.but it doesnt detect any voice.When i try online video chat for google.it gives message as your mic is muted or is hardware -muted.

Hello, @Raval 

Welcome to the HP Forums.

It seems that the mic in your notebook is not working correctly. I will try to assist you with this.

Start by going into the Device Manager on your notebook. Once here check under the audio input and output, you should see a driver for your mic listed here. Right click on it to make sure that it hasn't been disabled, if it has click enable. If you enabled, test to see if this was the issue. If it's already enabled, choose to uninstall (from when right clicking). Restart the notebook. Test again after start up.

If that didn't work, try this driver: Realtek High-Definition (HD) Audio Driver.

Start with this and let me know how it goes.
