Hey Imranijazbutt,

Thank you for joining the HP Support Community! 🙂

I will do my best in assisting you to hopefully remove the red dots from your screen. 🙂

To start off, I would like to confirm if you are able to see the dots in the BIOS screen, or not. To enter into the BIOS you will need to repeatedly press the F10 key as the computer is starting up. You do not need to change any settings in here, this is only to find out if you can see the red dots in the BIOS.

Another option to hopefully resolve the issue are the steps in the follow article How to Fix a Stuck Pixel on an LCD Monitor.

Please let me know the outcome of the troubleshooting steps.

Best of Luck!

Hi Miss Liza

i have checked in the bios but they are still visible even in bios one thing more i would like to tell you that they are so minor that i could not judge their color exactly i guess they are in red or black.

Thanks

one thing more i would like to add that they are not visible in when the rest of the screen is black.

means in black background they are not visible.

Hi Imranijazbutt,

Thank you for that additional information. As you cannot see the dots in the BIOS, this typically means that it is a software issue. I would suggest reinstall the original graphics drivers. To do this, please follow the steps in this document Using Recovery Manager to Restore Software and Drivers (Windows 7).

Let me know if you see the dots with the original drivers.

Hi Imranijazbutt,

I do apologize, I did miss read your previous post. As you are able to see the pixels in the BIOS, the only steps that I do have for removing them are in the document How to Fix a Stuck Pixel on an LCD Monitor.
