Hi I recently reinstalled windows after replacing a damaged hardrive but have been unable to connect to the internet. After a brief period of head scratching I worked out that I was missing a number of drivers (ETHERNET CONTROLLER, NETWORK CONTROLLER, PCI DEVICE, PCI SIMPLE CONTROLLER and SM BUS CONTROLLER) Could anybody tell me exactly what I need to install.

I have the same issue but the download links you give no longer work.

 

I need

SM BUS
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1C22&SUBSYS_166F103C&REV_05

 

PCI Device
PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_5209&SUBSYS_166F103C&REV_01

 

I don't see a suitable download from the download listing for my model . It is

HP Pavilion g6 Notebook PC  A9J86EA #ABU0690130000204610000620100

 

and I have Win 7 Ultimate X64 recently reinstalled. Device Manager cannot 

find the downloads.
