Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi

Microsoft Windows 10 (64-Bit) version 20H2 (OS build 19042.630)

I installed  Windows 10  and the following drivers are missing:

Device description: PCI Data Acquisition and Signal Processing Controller

Instance path: PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_9DF9&SUBSYS_8514103C&REV_30\3&11583659&0&90

Hardware lds:  PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_9DF9&SUBSYS_8514103C&REV_30

Device Description: PCI Device

Instance path: PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_525A&SUBSYS_8514103C&REV_01\00000001004CE00000

Hardware Ids: PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_525A&SUBSYS_8514103C&REV_01

Device Description: PCI Serial Port

Instance path: PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_9DFC&SUBSYS_8514103C&REV_30\3&11583659&0&98

Hardware Ids: PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_9DFC&SUBSYS_8514103C&REV_30

Device Description: Unknown device

Instance path: ACPI\INT3400\2&DABA3FF&0
Hardware Ids: ACPI\VEN_INT&DEV_3400

All these drivers are related to the Intel Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework firmware. I tried applying the following driver from the HP support site:

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp100501-101000/sp100912.exe

BUT Windows report the following error message:

"The driver is not supported in this OS Version (10.0.19042)"

When will an updated driver be available for this version of the OS?

Hi:

Since this is a peer to peer forum, no one here will be able to tell you when HP will release updated drivers for W10 20H2.

Try this driver instead...

This package contains the driver that enables the Intel Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework firmware. Intel Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework provide system temperature and power utilization information for the system thermal protection to function properly. This package is provided for supported notebook models running a supported operating system.

sp104384.exe (hp.com)

If the above driver doesn't work, In many cases, you can manually install the driver when you get the driver not supported message.

Go to the device manager.  Click on the devices needing the drivers.  Click on the driver tab.

Click on Update driver.   Select the Browse my computer for drivers option, and browse to the driver folder that was created when you ran the file.

That folder will be located in C:\SWSetup\sp100912.

Make sure the Include subfolders box is checked and see if the driver installs that way.

For the PCI device, you need this driver...that is the card reader.

This package contains the driver that enables the Realtek Card Reader in supported computer models that are running a supported operating system. The card reader enables users to read from or write to supported removable storage cards, which are typically used in digital cameras, digital music players, and cellular phones.

sp105838.exe (hp.com)
