Hi:

You need the Intel USB 3.0 controller driver from your notebook's support and driver page.

Please enlighten me about this driver, its task and its' relation to USB 3.0 controller driver. Because I don't have USB 3.0 port.

Hi,

I am not a hardware engineer.

All I can tell you is that is the driver you need based on the hardware ID you posted.

Since you neglected to provide the full model number of your PC, I can only take a guess at exactly what driver that is.

Probably this one...

Sorry but I can't help you on this one.

You can see the very same hardware ID missing from this person's machine and the USB 3.0 driver I posted for it, which solved the problem.

When you do a general internet search of the ID, they all come up as usb 3 controller.

I would try a manual install from the device and browse to the installation folder that was created when you ran the file and make sure the include subfolders box is checked.

Hi:

For the ID of PCI\VEN104C&DEV_803B, that device needs the Texas Instruments card reader driver for your specific model notebook.

You have not provided enough information for me to help you any further than that.
