I saw it but i was unable to download it.
Moreover, it's finger print driver. It does not has any concerns with WiFi.

It is not the fingerprint reader driver.

 

It is the SD card reader driver (such as for reading digital camera cards).

You need this driver for the BT.

And you need to install the HP wireless assistant software if you had it before or the wireless card doesn't show up.

Then you need to post the hardware ID for the wireless card if you need a driver for it.

I do have hp assistant on my notebook.
And the WiFi driver shown in device manager is:
Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection

The product id is:

My WiFi is detecting the available network and is connected to it but it says"limited access"

I installed the latest driver.
But the problem persists.

It says
" currently connected to:

Unidentified network
No network access
_________________________________________
Wireless network connection

< network name> limited access"

I can see this when i click on the quick launch icon of WiFi.

If your PL997UA (HP Pavilion zv5340us Notebook PC) is missing the drivers for the base system device, you need this one.

Hi,

 

I've got  "base system device" drivers missing on my laptop.I had Vista Starter installed.

 

My laptop is a COMPAQ Presario V3628TU . The following are the details on the two items:

 

1.  Location: PCI bus 8, device 9, function 3

      The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)

 

Hardware ID's:
