HP ENVY x360 Convertible 15m-dr0xxx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

hi guys!

I have an issue with my  HP ENVY x360 Convertible 15m-dr0xxx laptop.

indeed since yesterday as I made a new installation of the microsoft windows 10 64bits software my computer audio is notworking. every time I right clik to the troubleshooter it's still saying to restart the computer due to changes made but nothing else it's still the same.

so I went through a software and drivers website were after a diagnosed it's been said that no driver was installed for this laptop and here is the reference of the driver: PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_9DC8&SUBSYS_85E6103C&REV_30

but when I put my headsets I get the sound from the system and when I remove it the sound is missing.

if you could please help me solve this I would really appreciate it.

thanks and God bless you!!!

@IRIKING

Please do a clean install Audio software/driver, this should help.

(a) Download the following driver and save on your computer,
               https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp107501-108000/sp107674.exe
(b) Go to Device Manager, Sound to uninstall sound driver (Realtek) and reboot,
(c) Right click downloaded file and select Run as administrator,
(d) Reboot again.

Regards
