Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hi, this is my IT computer for my uni course in Australia(go figure).  It crashed last year, took it in to HP Hong Kong coz I live here and they put windows 7 back on but with no Recovery option - told me this option does not exist in Hong Kong.  Told me if it crashes again I cannot fix it (despite having to do this for my IT course), but I have to bring it in to HP HK each time, so they have set it up I cannot fix my own basic problems by doing a basic recovery and restore.

 

So my problems now:

1. my Microsoft decided to crash last week.  I  contacted HP in Australia because I was going there for 1 week so I thought I could fix my computer while there. HP gave me instructions on how to instal IOS with recovery option, and then I would put on Microsoft office again.  

2. However,when trying to istall,  the HP Client Security will not allow me to access any device - usb or other which is part of the requirement to reinstall my operating system recovery AND microsoft office disk.

 

I did set up the HP client security to limit access, ie put in password by PROMPT that appears so i can put in my password, and then have it for an hour to be rePROMPTED.  All good until microsoft crashed.  The PROMPT does not appear, cannot locate it.  Tried to uninstall HP Client Security and it won't allow me - error 17.19.   I open HP client security and it goes to the page where I've setup the wizard with windows password enrolled, but disabled the windows logon security.   It says to see more options just run the HP Client Security - I cannot work out how to 'run HP Client Security' there are no instructions in laymans terms on how to do so.  Btw I cannot access my usb in the cmd prompt -even under adminstrator.
