It might not be a big problem but I would be so happy if you could help me.. When I play music on my HP Envy x2 and the screen closes the music stops and whon't start again until a starts to use i again. As it is now I can't go any further away from my computer if I whant to listen to music. I am sure that there is some kind of setting I have to change but I can't manage to find it by myself. Thanks for your help! Sandra

Hi

Sorry for a third party link.. but that will help you solve the problem you have

http://www.dummies.com/how-to/content/changing-what-happens-when-you-close-the-lid-on-a-.html

Check the link and when you go to the Choose What Closing the Lid Does.. choose do nothing or just turn of display both of them will play music without any problem..

Hi

Unfortunetly the problem is not solved.. I don't know if I explained it correctly? It's when the computer goes black when not beeing used for a while, so not by closing the lid of pressing the power button. I tried your tip but it didn't help the sound still stops as soon as the screen shuts down (I don't know the english expression for it).

Thanks again!
