Hi,
My Internal Microphone Array (IDT High Definition Audio Codec) is not working.
I cannot do Skype calls.
I have already tried everything but still I'm not able to fix the problem.
Could you please advice me what to do?
Could you please provide me with a link with the drivers I may need to reinstall.
My computer is HP, Windos 8.1, 64-bit operating system, Intel i-7 processor.
I would really appreciate your quick answer to resolve this issue.
Many thanks,
Antonio

Hey,
Try installing this driver: IDT High-Definition (HD) Audio Driver
If that fails, try using the HP Recovery Manager to roll back to the factory installed driver.
Test after both. Let me know if either option worked.

Hello, @AILGordaliza
Welcome to the HP Forums.
It appears that you're having issues with skype and the internal mic. I will try to assist you with this.
Have you tested to see if these issues occur with an external mic?
What are the model and product numbers for the computer?
Here's a few document for you:
Troubleshooting Skype Performance Problems
Using Skype to Make Voice and Video Internet Calls (Windows 😎
Also, try this Microsoft utility: Automatically diagnose and fix Skype audio and webcam issues.
This document may also help: Resolving Microphone and Line-in Problems (Windows 8).
You can update the drivers for your notebook, with the HP Support Assistant.
Let me know how it goes.
Thank you for posting on the HP Forums.
