HP ENVY x360 - 15-w100nx (ENERGY STAR)

Out of Warranty: Ended on 3/05/2017

Serial Number [personal info removed]

Product Number P7T61EA

My System crashed, I did stupidly format the C drive while trying to install win 11 which couldn't happen.

I don't have a recovery DVD nor flash disk and I don't know how to download the original operating system that came with the laptop 5 years ago in March 2016.

I need to download an ISO file or something like that so that I can make a recovery disk on my flash and restore the laptop to factory settings.

or if there is a way to install win 11 but how can I have the windows product key.

I know how to install the drivers if required but not the operating system.

Thanks in advance.

The specs of your machine is

You can use the following tool to reinstall Windows 10

          https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c06162205

Your machine has  Intel® Core™ i5-6200U with Intel® HD Graphics 520 (2.3 GHz, up to 2.8 GHz, 3 MB cache, 2 cores) which is not suitable for Windows 11. You can bypass this BUT my suggestion: get Windows 10 back first then think about Windows 11 with less support later.

You don't need Windows 10 key which is already digitally embedded on BIOS of your machine.

My product id should be

Product Number

P7T61EA#A2N is not working on the HP Cloud Tool, or am I using a wrong number when it does ask for the product id?

Please try  P7T61EA

or  use

                   https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

to created installation media  (USB or DVD) then install from there.

is not working

windows 10 is not downloading via the app from microsoft.

I need a direct link similar to win11, if possible please.

HP Recommended

Instead of using the 'create media' link, use the direct ISO download link;

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10ISO

sadly windows 10 was unable to install format or copy files on my laptop drive

I did try to download windows 8.1 and it started to ask for the product key, how can I provide that from the bios?

You can utilize the accompanying apparatus to reinstall Windows 10

https://support.hp.com/us-en/record/c06162205

Your machine has Intel® Core™ i5-6200U with Intel® HD Graphics 520 (2.3 GHz, up to 2.8 GHz, 3 MB store, 2 centers) which isn't reasonable for Windows 11. You can sidestep this BUT my idea: get Windows 10 back first then, at that point, ponder Windows 11 with less help later.

You needn't bother with Windows 10 key which is now carefully implanted on BIOS of your machine.

Respects.
